What to Expect

Jonathon and Ashleigh are dedicated to making sure you absolutely love your family photos and look forward to working with you before, during and after your photo session. Each time you book a session with Life Exposure you will have a pre-session consultation with us where we’ll learn about what makes your family tick and what you are looking for from your photos. This can be done in person, by email or over the phone – whichever option works best for you. You can choose the location for your session – in our studio, your home or an outdoor location in the Hamilton/Burlington area. On the day of your session we will work to get those real smiles and candid moments recorded for you.

A photography session with Life Exposure is a fun and memorable experience. The final pictures are full of genuine emotion and unrestrained smiles. We encourage you to show off favourite toys and cuddly items and will even bring some extra props of our own to add to the fun. For the best photos we like to have one rule during our sessions: there are no rules as long as what you're doing won't hurt you or someone else. Your children do not need to be on their best behaviour for us. We don't want them on their best behaviour! Kids are messy, creative, active people and that is who we want to catch on film for you to remember. So take a deep breath, relax and enjoy. Your true beauty will shine through as well if you're not worried about the kids behaving.

Shortly after the session we will meet with you to show you the proofs of your images and help you decide how to best display your favourite pictures – anything from framing or canvas to gorgeous photo books and holiday greeting cards. We want to make sure that your family can enjoy these pictures for decades to come so we use only the highest quality vendors for your prints and keepsakes.
